This is the start of the rewrite of the entire framework. The rewrite will include support for XAML through WPF and Silverlight, WCF, Workflow Services and much more.

The Genesis Smart Client Framework v2.0 will go by the code moniker of Ruby. This release will include the User Experience Platform (UXP) which represents the WPF and Silverlight user interfaces. Both have been built using the Composite Application Library (PRISM) (compositewpf.codeplex.com) and will be compatible with PRISM v4 when it launches. Thoughts are for support of the Windows Phone 7 platform through PRISM.

The next steps after the User Experience Platform will be to do the Workflow Services back-end and to apply the configuration to the user interfaces.
